TRAINING OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

CLASS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT - FEVER TO STOP THE PLANET
campaign Legambiente Stop the fever - Greenhouse Effect care are you is designed to mobilize citizens and institutions for reducing greenhouse gases. The proposal
for the 2008-2009 school year who enroll in classes as classes Environment is to stay within this common path, asking them to respond with concrete actions to the question: what can we do to reduce fever planet?
The class will sign a pact with Legambiente to reduce the greenhouse effect, going to affect the attitudes and lifestyles that produce excessive emissions.
The classes will work on a specific environmental issue, with the design of local, whose results are immediately measurable. In addition, the didactic proposals are for teachers a real interdisciplinary laboratory which to build education programs for the construction of scientific skills and citizenship.

Legambiente provide a set of cards that knows will set out the criteria to calculate the CO2 savings of sustainable actions that the class implements. The schedules apply to actions To: School Mobility, recycling, energy conservation at school, water consumption, the organization of campaigns Legambiente.
How to become a Class Environmental . Join on-line (on www.legambientescuolaformazione.it ) or by filling out the attached form and fax along with spending a copy of deposit slip to 20 € (inclusive of € 5 shipping).
What receives the Class Environmental . 1) kit cards to account for actions to reduce CO2, and 2) Stop the Fever put to hang in the classroom, 3) Subscribe to Jey (the magazine for those under 14); 4) Subscribe to What energy (for secondary school degree).
Right to participate in the National Competition and Training School Legambiente . By agreeing to this educational proposal, the classes may participate in the National Competition for the best educational project. Prizes will be awarded the best experiences that will efficiently and effectively contributed to the great challenge against climate change. The classes will be returned by June 20, 2009 paper ballots with actions recorded, stamped by the school head and accompanied by a report on the trail made by the class and any attachments (photos, videos, newspaper articles ...) that will always be clear web Legambiente and Training School.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS - FOR A COMPANY 'sustainable and inclusive
Legambiente Lombardia is working on a training session intended for educators on "Possible Solutions" cultural and methodological suggestions for renewing teaching and improve the cultural quality of the territories .
course structure, modeled on the pantry paper "Possible Solutions" published by Legambiente School and Training, is structured as follows:
Part One - Learn today: the skills of citizenship for the twenty-first century
1) Some scenarios cultural (including local and overall, the construction of identity, the paradox of science, the sense of the future);
2) Why education is increasingly difficult;
3) The school autonomy: to make research to improve the cultural quality of the territories;
4 ) Environmental education and skills of citizenship.
Part Two - paths, tools, methods
5) Phases of a possible route: work tools and suggestions for activities
Part Three - Routes to active citizenship: experience and proposals
6) Experience of education citizenship
7) Proposals for work in schools
The course will last three hours and a cost 25 euro per participant (15 for members of Legambiente School and Training).
