LEGAMBIENTE PROPOSALS AND TRAINING SCHOOL FOR 2007/2008 AS
Connect each disciplinary learning, capacity building cross and training for active citizenship : This is the strength of the proposals that the professional association Legambiente Educational Programme aimed at schools.
But not only ... to rediscover the cultural quality of the territories Legambiente proposed forms of tourism such as educational networking opportunities, volunteering, leisure and study among teenagers, in which players feel, to compare with peers and adults, learn ways of life and new points of view.
Finally, Legambiente and Training School also offers teachers and educators with opportunities for reflection and training or at a distance.

MANY CLASSES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Legambiente offers classes to become CLASSES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.
Why become a Class Environment?

because a class for the Environment take concrete action to improve the environment in which it helps to build a more sustainable and inclusive, works to protect nature and make it more livable and beautiful city;

because students in a class for the Environment are active citizens who are busy, have their say on what's around them, they encounter other experiences from which to draw inspiration for action.
What does a Class Environment?

promotes environmental action within their own school or of their territory brings out what is nice, and tries to intervene to stem the ugliness

faces environmental problems and seeks solutions.
Classes for the Environment may:

participate in active citizenship initiatives : Clean Up the World Day of the Tree, Operation Rivers, Nontiscordardimè schools clean-operation, 100 ways to play ;

open disputes on their own territory to obtain better, more cycle lanes, more green, more cultural spaces ...
-
twin with a school in a small town participating in the project The School adopts a municipality and support projects of cooperation and international solidarity;
-
campaigning to improve the 'efficiency getting the school building recognition friendly school climate;

What receives the Class Environment?
The manual Classes for the environment, the educational TeatrAmbiente - between the stage and backstage young people take the theaters, Jey (the magazine for those under 14), the Jey Card, adhesives, the Road Map and the flag of Legambiente.
The national competition
Classes for the Environment may participate in a national competition that will reward the best experience and will build a database useful for the dissemination of good practices in other schools.

ENTRIES STILL OPEN TO "CLEAN UP THE WORLD" - 28/29/30 September 2007
Legambiente not go on holiday ... and even in summer you can subscribe to Clean Up the World, the largest ecological festival will take place as every year in late September. The three days will see children and adults committed to cleaning up litter from streets and parks and bottles, each armed with gloves and bags will play its part!
in schools will be the 'opportunity to raise awareness to the problem of decay in children facing our city and to realize that it is possible to regain green areas.
The commitment to "Clean Up the World" is free. Teachers will organize the collection of contributions for the purchase of kit and Adult / Child or include insurance and individual daily gadgets.

TOGETHER WE PREPARE THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

LEGAMBIENTE SCHOOL, WORK ON THE WEB TO WORK BETTER
Create a working group on environmental education, create an 'area education for schools, clubs and members of Legambiente Lombardia, communicate experiences and projects, share ideas, overcome barriers and division to put in the action and the choices of Legambiente education. Those who wish to contribute can contact the Association on Environmental Education in Trisoglio Andrea (02.87386480).

pooling ... GOOD PRACTICES AND GOOD STUDIES
Collect the best practices of education carried out by members and trainers Legambiente circles. Collect them to network and make them known. Collect them and then draw inspiration for projects that will be made in the future. Collect, finally, to report, within the association, competent people to turn to. From this need arises archive of best practices, one of the goals it has given the Field School and Training Legambiente Lombardia.
