CLASS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT - FEVER TO STOP THE PLANET
campaign Legambiente Stop the fever - Greenhouse Effect care are you is designed to mobilize citizens and institutions to reduce greenhouse gases.
The proposal for the year 2008-2009 school classes that register as Classes for the Environment is to stay within this common path, asking them to respond with concrete actions to the question: what can we do to reduce the fever of the Planet?
The class will sign a pact with Legambiente to reduce the greenhouse effect, going to affect the attitudes and lifestyles that produce excessive emissions.
The classes will work on a specific environmental issue, with the design of local, whose results are immediately measurable. In addition, the didactic proposals are for teachers a real interdisciplinary laboratory that will serve education programs for the construction of scientific knowledge and citizenship.

course structure, modeled on the pantry paper "Possible Solutions" published by Legambiente School and Training, is structured as follows:
Part One - Learn today: the skills of citizenship for the twenty-first century
1) Some scenarios cultural (between local and global construction identity, the paradox of science, the sense of the future);
2) Why education is increasingly difficult;
3) The school autonomy or doing research to improve the cultural quality of the territories;
4) Environmental education and skills citizenship.
Part Two - paths, tools, methods
5) Phases of a possible route: work tools and suggestions for activities

The course will last three hours and a cost of 25 euro per participant (15 for members of Legambiente School and Training).

Legambiente Lombardia is working on a training session intended for educators on "Possible Solutions" cultural and methodological suggestions for renewing teaching and improve the cultural quality of the territories .
course structure, modeled on the pantry paper "Possible Solutions" published by Legambiente School and Training, is structured as follows:
Part One - Learn today: the skills of citizenship for the twenty-first century
1) Some scenarios cultural (including local and overall, the construction of identity, the paradox of science, the sense of the future);
2) Why education is increasingly difficult;
3) The school autonomy: to make research to improve the cultural quality of the territories;
4 ) Environmental education and skills of citizenship.
Part Two - paths, tools, methods
5) Phases of a possible route: work tools and suggestions for activities
Part Three - Routes to active citizenship: experience and proposals
6) Experience of education citizenship
7) Proposals for work in schools
The course will last three hours and a cost 25 euro per participant (15 for members of Legambiente School and Training).

ADOPT A SCHOOL-TOWN TAKES A COMMON LOMBARDO: We have responded to an invitation to propose a Cariplo evolution of the project. Small municipalities participating in abundance as they exceeded the number of 50. In these days, when to love Italy, the Middle School Albizzate (VA) is hosted by the City of Varzi (PV), while in Valsassina remain for three days the children of School of Phrygia via Milan. CUSTODIANS OF THE LAND: we are having a lot of satisfaction from this project. So far we have done training on the themes "Energy", "waste" and "water". There are still two meetings training (on "land use" and "biodiversity"). Once this phase of training, the clubs that have joined the project taking action on its territory. Soon all the material used for the training will be online. On this aspect of training we would like to work hard during the next school year we have seen that, despite the times, the courses that we are being followed with great participation ... obvious sign of a need associated!

SCHOOL BUILDING: in April we carried out in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano a conference on building schools ("Schools are capable of future") that allowed us to reflect on the situation of building schools, especially in light of the dismaying that data collection and dissemination of Legambiente Ecosystem school 2008. " From that conference had three working groups, one of which is managed by Legambiente (architect Giampaolo Artois). In May, the theme of school will be discussed again by Legambiente Lombardy during a panel discussion to be held in Brescia.

LOMBARD OLD SCHOOL AND NOT UNDER
presented the results of Ecosystem School 2008 "annual report on construction and educational services to Legambiente Mantua and Monza in the first places in the standings
Only 31% of the schools of Milan and holds a certificate of viability in 54% of the students studying in old buildings because they are made between 1900 and 1974. They are some of the data emerging from the report "School Ecosystem 2008", the annual research carried out at the provincial capitals of Legambiente province of Italians who, through a questionnaire, providing information on the quality of the structures of schooling. Under the lens of the dossier also high schools under the jurisdiction of the Italian Provinces. The survey Legambiente processed the data provided by 94 local authorities (who have expertise on primary schools) and 51 provincial (who have expertise on Higher). The goal is to provide a tool for teachers and students, modern and effective, to give visibility to projects on environmental issues such as the relationship between engine and the environment and the life cycle of materials. The site will also be a useful tool to investigate some tematche using educational strategies focused on the use of new technologies. " HARRY POTTER AND THE FIVE MAGIC WAND TO KNOW BETTER OUR COMMON
The lesson is aimed at elementary school children. The overall objective is to help children to read and interpret the complexity of where they live, through a conceptual reorganization. In particular, the lesson is to:
a) make children more aware of where they live, its merits and its defects;
b) giving children some pictures and any ideas to express pros and cons of where they live;
c) give children some ideas to imagine a city suitable for children
d) set the stage for a speech class on the reality that is around

of schools to address artistic and design of Lombardy (2008-2009)

a) make children more aware of where they live, its merits and its defects;
b) giving children some pictures and some ideas to express qualities and defects of the place where they live;
c) give children some ideas to imagine a city suitable for children
d) put the basis for a class action on the reality that is around
